The return of Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has ignited immense excitement within the fandom. From the gradual reveal of newcomers before the title's release, to players forming strong views on the full roster of new Megas, there's plenty for fans to look forward to.

Given many of the Mega Evolutions showcasing unique appearances that emphasize their traits, one idea naturally: What's the best way to link this with zodiac signs? This list is based on a blend of intuition, common zodiac traits, and personal experience.

Aries – Super Camerupt

The sign famous for being charmingly judgmental is strongly reflected across this Pokémon’s whole lineage, from a perpetually surprised face like a Virgo when you tell them you lack a retirement plan, to its inverted visage that’s just like the emoji a Maiden posts to the chatroom when all says they want to “be spontaneous” instead of creating a plan.

Libra – Super Audino

Observe this sweet, sensitive creature, who uses the sensors on its ears to tell how people are feeling by their heartbeat. Always compassionate – sometimes to a fault – and trying to keep the harmony, there are many Scales who would probably benefit from Super Audino's abilities. Though, let’s be honest, it would likely just cause them to worry more about everyone else.

The Scorpion – Mega Banette

This Ghost-type is a Pokémon with a surprisingly tragic origin: Abandoned as a doll, it gained sentient through sheer hatred and vowed retribution on its former owner. According to the Pokédex, Super Evolution, “enhances its spitefulness.” That sounds exactly like many discussions I’ve had with my scary Scorpio friends. A Scorpion adores karma and retribution, making them the ideal pair with Mega Banette.

Sagittarius – Super Hawlucha

Both Mega Hawlucha and Sagittarians are constantly putting on a performance. As a Sagittarius personally, the number of occasions I’ve referred to myself some variation of a “silly little jester” is innumerable. The showiest and most attention-seeking Super Form, its Pokédex entry even mentions how it “poses to show off its power.” I would do the very same thing if I had some kind of Mega evolved form, making Mega Hawlucha the most apt Sagittarius match I can imagine.

Capricorn – Super Absol
