Vince Zampella, a Gaming Pioneer, Dies in a California Car Crash
Vince Zampella, the mind behind the immensely successful franchise Call of Duty, has died in a traffic collision in Los Angeles, California aged 55.
Zampella's death was confirmed by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, a game studio that he helped create.
The influential game designer lost his life when his automobile collided and caught fire on a motorway in LA on this past Sunday, as reported by.
"This represents a heartbreaking loss, and our deepest sympathies go to his family and friends, his loved ones, and all those touched by his work," a representative from Electronic Arts stated.
