Suspect in Brown University Incident Found Discovered Dead Inside Storage Unit.
The individual suspected of being the recent fatal shooting incident at Brown University authorities state died by suicide on Thursday evening, per officials.
His body was discovered at a storage location on Thursday evening, as reported from an official source. This suspect is also suspected of killing a Massachusetts Institute of Technology professor at a residence in the Boston area.
“He committed suicide this evening,” stated the head of the Providence police department during a press conference.
The police official named the deceased man as Claudio Nevis Valenti, a 48-year-old individual enrolled at Brown University.
This development comes after a significant police presence at a storage facility in Salem, New Hampshire earlier on Thursday. Witnesses reported seeing multiple armed officers entering the location.
